[Event Report] Gotenyama Moonlight Illumination 2015-2016

“Gotenyama,” a land steeped in elegance, is known for its splendid attractions such as cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. A historic location that was once home to the palace, Gotenyama not only featured cherry trees, but it also drew refined people for the Viewing of the Moon. At Gotenyama Trust City, where this refinement is conveyed today, the air of winter is created by the soft moonlight in a theme of “Winter Moonlight Illumination.” A modern tree made with natural materials appears in the open area in front of Tokyo Marriott Hotel. With the gentle light cast by Andon paper lanterns, Gotenyama is enveloped in the spirit of peace. A cute Santa panel will greet you as you pass along the avenue.
